Overlocking Service
We are able to take your surplus carpet scraps and turn them into useful, cost effective, practical mats, using our neat and tight overlocking service.
Use your leftover pieces as colour coordinated rugs in a doorway or entrance to help reduce wear and tear on your newly installed carpet, or as protection from sparks in front of the fire.
By having these pieces finished with a woollen yarn and an overlock stitch sewn around the carpet, they are stopped from fraying and becoming tatty. As part of our core overlocking service we are able to offer you the following:
- We cut to your measurements.
- Same day service.
- We match the colour of the yarn to your carpet as closely as possible from our extensive supply of yarn.
- The stitching we use is a neat and tight blanket stitch.

In addition:
We have an expansive work room and are able to cater for large pieces that may require overlocking eg 3.5x3.6m or larger. Please note that these sizes will incur a handling charge.
We also do the cutting and overlocking for campervans, buses and boats, using templates provided by the customer.
We are able to re-overlock existing carpets (please note used carpets will be declined if they are dirty and considered a health risk to our staff).
